Nature of the program
The Zellerbach Family Foundation focuses in assisting non-profit community arts organizations located in San Francisco, Contra Costa, and Almeda counties, spearheading programs related in the fields of dance, theater, visual arts, music, festivals, poetry, literature, and publications.
Eligibility requirements
Grants will only be awarded to organizations with 501 (c)(3) tax-exempt status. Individuals with a fiscal sponsor are also eligible to receive the foundation’s Community Arts grant program.
Geographic focus
San Francisco, Contra Costa, and Almeda counties
Deadline
Submission of grants will be from March 22, July, and September 28, 2011.
Grant limitations
Grants will not be awarded for films, videos, youth-performed or youth-oriented programs.
Range
Grants range from $1,000 to $7,500
